About The Position

PRIMARY RESPONSIBNILITIES: Work in South Texas primarily with possible rotational schedule in West Texas. Schedule will be a 14/14 or 10/4. Collaborate closely with customer field representatives to effectively execute NOV Frac operations. Facilitate onboarding of NOV Frac products across all basins in the US. Provide field technical support to customers for NOV Frac products. Assist with development and implementation of new product offerings, i.e., gathering information, field implementation strategies, etc. Initiate incident investigations, report up in a timely manner, and partake in devising a solution. When on location, observe the condition of all NOV equipment, and report any deficiencies accordingly. Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems. Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system. Maintain the highest level of professionalism and work with honesty and integrity, maintaining customer service. Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. Another duty, responsibility, or task assigned by manager. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 5+ years’ experience preferred. Wireline, Fishing, Coil or Completion Tools equivalent: 5+ years preferred. Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware. Strong technical background working with downhole tools utilized in pump down operations, including wireline setting tools, frac plugs, and perforating guns. Ability to work in all basin regions in the US. Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations. Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred. Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office. Electrical background preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Initiative-taking and meticulous. Leadership skills. Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues. Bi-lingual preferred but not required. Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report. Requirements

  • AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 5+ years’ experience preferred.
