About The Position

As an EMT, you will transport and care for clients transported to various appointments, hospitals, schools, and facilities. As an EMT, you are responsible for the safety and well-being of clients during transportation to their destination and will comply with all state, local, and company policies and procedures applicable to your level of training. Requirements

Valid Driver's License (for a minimum of 2 years) with an acceptable driving record
Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull more than 125lbs
Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
Must have a high school diploma or GED minimum

Responsibilities

Safely operate an MAV vehicle along assigned routes and within service areas
Conduct inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and clean.
Provide excellent customer service with patience, respect, and professionalism
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, managers, and passengers
Handle unexpected situations calmly and appropriately
Report vehicle issues, passenger incidents, or delays promptly
Collaborate with our medical professionals and management to assure top tier patient care
Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business
