Mattress Builder

The Tempur Sealy manufacturing site in Hagerstown, MD is currently seeking a Mattress Builder for the 1st shift. The Mattress Builder is responsible for taking pre-staged parts of the mattress and assembling them in the correct order. This role involves correctly assembling multiple bedding layers, including springs, felt, foam, and other materials in a safe and consistent manner. The Mattress Builder will work in a two-person team to pad and cover innerspring assemblies to form mattresses, attaching layers of insulating materials using a hog ring gun and securing toppers and panels by spraying hot glue. It is essential to adhere to all safety and quality requirements while meeting or exceeding production service levels. Additionally, participation in department safety, quality, and continuous improvement events may be required as needed. Other duties may be assigned by the Department Supervisor as necessary.
