Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day (or longer during overtime) as required.
Must be able to lift heavy products or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8-hour shift (or longer during overtime). Heavy loads must be team-lifted.
Must maintain production within the specified range to support the integrity of the make-to-order system.
Ability to comprehend and follow detailed work instructions and production tickets.
Must understand and follow verbal instructions, communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and management, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing team environment.
Safety-focused, fast-paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Work environment includes exposure to high noise levels, hot raw materials, fire-retardant materials, and limited chemicals.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for any hazards and is provided by the company.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble mattresses according to established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools, including c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, and hot glue guns.
Operate bonding machines for assembly
Perform foam encasing and complete final mattress assembly.
Inspect mattress components and finished units for structural defects, quality issues, or unacceptable flaws.
Ensure all assembly steps meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly or quality issues as they arise.
Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
