About The Position
As a Matterport Technician at Paul Davis Restoration of the Mid-South and North Mississippi, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the photographing and mapping of homes and businesses that have been affected by disasters such as fires, floods, and storms. This position is vital to our operations, and we are seeking individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service during challenging times. You will be responsible for creating 3D scans of properties using a Matterport Pro2 Camera and an iPad, ensuring that accurate and detailed representations are uploaded for our Remote Estimators. Your work will be at the forefront of technology adoption in the restoration industry, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of those affected by disasters. In this role, you will need to demonstrate empathy and a sense of urgency while communicating through various technological platforms. You will serve your community during their time of need, making a difference for those who have experienced property disasters. Working under the direction of the Mitigation and Estimating Teams, you will focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining all company equipment. Additionally, you will be expected to be accessible by phone and participate in the on-call schedule as necessary, assisting other team members whenever opportunities arise. The physical demands of this position may involve significant standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. You may occasionally need to climb ladders, balance, crouch, stoop, reach, kneel, and handle various materials. The ability to work in confined spaces and exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, is also part of the job. You will encounter moderate to loud noise levels and may be exposed to fumes from solvents and chemical solutions. Time management skills are essential, and experience with cameras and lighting, as well as computer skills, will be beneficial in this role. Organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are also highly valued.
