About The Position

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will assemble and operate high‑speed equipment to support safe and efficient production in our Hagerstown, MD facility. You will work onsite in an hourly, nonclassified role focused on mixing, batching, staging changeover parts, and supporting machine operations to keep production running smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or mechanical environment.
• Comfort working around high‑speed machinery and performing hands-on equipment tasks.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation, code checks, and quality adherence.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records in computerized systems.
• Skill in identifying and resolving basic equipment issues.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with Operators and production staff in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assemble high‑speed equipment, including Kitter, Mixer, Freezer, and Bagger machines.
• Assist Operators with clearing jams, stacking off, climbing for assessments, loading materials, checking code dates, and troubleshooting machine faults.
• Record required production and quality information in CDC.
• Follow all Quality Assurance standards and maintain WinSPC computerized weight‑control requirements.
• Perform minor mechanical adjustments and repairs to support optimal equipment performance.
• Stage changeover parts before production transitions and return parts to the designated changeover cart after use.
