About the position

This opportunity resides with Uncrewed Systems (UxS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Uncrewed Systems comprises unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs), unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) and autonomy software. HII creates advanced unmanned solutions for defense, marine research and commercial applications. Serving customers in more than 30 countries, HII provides design, autonomy, manufacturing, testing, operations and sustainment of unmanned systems, including unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) and unmanned surface vessels (USVs). HII Unmanned Systems in Pocasset, MA is seeking a stockroom clerk. As our new stockroom clerk you will prepare, pack kits to manufacturing and perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack kits to manufacturing.
• Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties.
• Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment.
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials.
• Prepare records of materials shipped and bills of lading.
• Route materials to destinations.
• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes.
• Prepare parts and tooling for special shipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
