About The Position

The Mathematics department in the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics & Education at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in Mathematics. Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall, spring and summer. Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's Degree with at least 18 graduate level credit hours in mathematics.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introductory Algebra, College Algebra, Finite Mathematics, Precalculus, or Calculus for Business. (Note: All courses are 4 credits.)
• Create a syllabus for the course.
• Provide a meeting time for students.
• Enter grades into the online grading system.
