About The Position

This is a part time instructor role with flexible hours for teaching students from elementary through high school math. Training is Provided.

Requirements

• A passion for math and working with students from early elementary through high school math in the center
• Confident and comfortable with math through Algebra 2
• Complete a math instructor test to show knowledge of prerequisite math skills at the center
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willing to learn and be trained
• Available and willing to commute to work within a 30 minute radius to the center at 1701 Corporate Dr., Ladera Ranch, CA 92694
• Available and willing to work during center hours 2-7 pm for a minimum of 2 weekdays Mon-Thur , for a minimum of 3 hours
• Available and willing to work through the 2025/2026 school year

Nice To Haves

• Preferred applicants are currently college students or graduates
• Considered applicants are currently Junior and Senior High school students

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction/tutoring services for early elementary through high school math
• Teach with the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work with team members to provide an excellent experience for students
• Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks
