About The Position

The Mathematics department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Mathematics Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, a commitment to equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Teach with excellence a full range of mathematics coursework. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or College activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline.
• A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
• Hiring process includes passing a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Higher education/community college/high school teaching experience preferred.
