Mathematics and Statistics Temporary Pool
About The Position
The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Digital Forensics at Commonwealth University seeks individuals to serve as either full-time or part-time temporary faculty at the Bloomsburg, Clearfield, Lock Haven, or Mansfield campuses. Qualified applicants will be included in a “pool” of individuals which will be used to fill classroom teaching assignments as the need arises. Duties Teaching introductory mathematics and statistics courses such as: Mathematical Thinking, Critical Reasoning, College Algebra, Precalculus, Introduction to Statistics, Mathematics for the Health Sciences, and Finite Mathematics. If full-time, one semester vacancies arise within the department, the normal full-time teaching load is 12 credit hours of instruction per-semester.
