Mathnasium, The Math Learning Center, is a dedicated math-only learning center focused on providing exceptional math education to students from 1st to 12th grade. Our mission is to teach math in a way that resonates with each student, ensuring they not only understand the concepts but also enjoy the learning process. We pride ourselves on our commitment to families, making their educational experience our top priority. As a Math Tutor/Instructor, you will play a crucial role in this mission by motivating and inspiring students to learn math through engaging and positive interactions. In this part-time position, you will utilize the Mathnasium Method of teaching to deliver effective and concise math instruction. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and tracking each student's progress, maintaining open communication with the Center Director and staff, and performing various operational functions as needed. You will also engage with parents to foster a supportive learning environment and uphold the high standards of our program. This role requires a blend of strong math skills, particularly up to Algebra 2, and excellent interpersonal abilities to connect with both students and their families.
