About The Position

Thales Academy Apex is seeking a dedicated Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The role focuses on delivering an excellent and affordable education to students from Pre-K to 12th grade, utilizing Direct Instruction and a Classical Curriculum. The Math Teacher will contribute to a rigorous academic environment that promotes ethical behavior, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, preparing students for success in higher education and beyond.

Requirements

• A passion for teaching
• Education or subject area degree
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the approved curriculum and providing proper pacing guides, lesson plans, and assessments for assigned courses.
• Working closely with other teammates to develop teaching skills.
• Participating in productive discussions including team planning meetings and sharing curriculum and instructional expertise.
• Engaging in offered professional development opportunities.
• Acting in a professional manner in verbal and nonverbal communications while following established guidelines.
• Promoting communication between parents, community members, and teammates, and working to establish and maintain home-school connections.
• Assisting in providing opportunities for parental/guardian involvement within the school.
