About The Position

Teachers of mathematics at Catholic Central are student-centered, growth-minded professionals who provide students with a foundation in logic, reasoning, and calculation skills and an experience in current technology that will enable the student to succeed in his or her chosen career. They provide challenging methods of operating which serve to increase problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills, meanwhile fostering virtues of wisdom, knowledge, and integrity that will serve them in any of the vocational opportunities to which God calls them.

Requirements

Hold a degree in and teaching certificate in mathematics.
Exhibit a strong interest in and concern for quality teaching, ideally with previous teaching experience.
Demonstrate an ability and commitment to furthering the Catholic mission and identity of the school.

Nice To Haves

Hold additional certification(s) preferred (experience in Personal Finance).
Practicing Catholic preferred.

Contribute to the school community outside of the classroom.
