About the position
The position is for a High School Mathematics Teacher at JDC/Dade. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to high school students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in achieving their academic goals. The role requires collaboration with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience and ensure that all students have access to the resources they need to succeed. The teacher will also be involved in curriculum development and assessment, as well as engaging with parents and the community to promote student learning.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics instruction to high school students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student performance and needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics.
- State certification or licensure to teach high school mathematics.
- Strong understanding of mathematics concepts and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
