About The Position

Camden Rockport Middle School Math Teacher - 8th Grade & Algebra 1 Full Time with Benefits Fall 2026 Opening About Camden Rockport Middle School Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5 ï¿½ 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students' active engagement in the learning process. Position Summary We are seeking a dynamic teacher of mathematics with experience and fluency in teaching pre-Algebra math concepts and skills up through and including high school Algebra 1. The ideal candidate is collaborative, energetic, and deeply knowledgeable about the middle school learner and best practices in mathematics instruction. Experience with, or a strong interest in, interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning is highly desirable.

Maine Department of Education teaching certification with Mathematics 5-8 (300) required
