Requirements

  • Passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree, preferred in education, math, or related field
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred
  • Previous customer relationships & sales experience preferred
  • All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center
  • Create effective learning plans for students including initial, pre-post checkups, and advancements
  • Monitor student pace of progress through learning plans and identify red flag students
  • Provide progress update reports and conduct meetings with parents
  • Respond to parents' ad-hoc inquiries about student progress, math issues, and teacher feedback
  • Onboard and certify new instructors
  • Conduct ongoing observations and coaching for instructors
  • Hold instructor staff meetings and manage recruiting and staffing
  • Ensure center operations including staffing, scheduling, and cleanliness are maintained effectively
