About The Position

Mathnasium Learning Centers are dedicated to teaching children math in a way that they understand, master, and enjoy. Our curriculum, developed through decades of hands-on instruction, has positively impacted the lives of children since 2002. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help transform the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position offers flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends, allowing for a rewarding work-life balance.

Requirements

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Ability to teach effectively through Algebra I
• Minimum High School Sophomore standing
• 0-3 years experience working with children in a volunteer or paid role

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
