About The Position
Mathnasium is a FUN and UPBEAT Math-only Learning Center in Newton, West Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Walpole, Brookline, and Belmont. We have several openings for In-Person math tutors who would like to help kids in a fun and upbeat environment. This job starts in September 2024. You’ll be working with students grades 1-8, explaining math. All worksheets and lesson plans are prepared by center directors and prepared for you.
Requirements
- Must be strong in math through Algebra 1.
- Must enjoy working with kids (1st-8th grade).
- An SAT Math score 700+ or ACT equivalent.
- Must be open to learning new ways of teaching math and working with children.
- Must be in 11th grade or older.
Responsibilities
- Working with students grades 1-8, explaining math.
- Using prepared worksheets and lesson plans.
