About The Position

Mathnasium is a FUN and UPBEAT Math-only Learning Center in Newton, West Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Walpole, Brookline, and Belmont. We have several openings for In-Person math tutors who would like to help kids in a fun and upbeat environment. This job starts in September 2024.

Requirements

• Must be strong in math through Algebra 1.
• Must enjoy working with kids (1st-8th grade).
• An SAT Math score of 700+ or ACT equivalent.
• Must be open to learning new ways of teaching math and working with children.
• Must be in 11th grade or older.

Responsibilities

• Working with students grades 1-8, explaining math concepts.
• Utilizing prepared worksheets and lesson plans provided by center directors.

Benefits

• Flexible working hours - choose 2, 3, or 4 shifts/week.
