About The Position

Tutors will support students in grades 3-5 on Math and/or ELA. The days and times are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both English and a second language, with the ability to provide academic support in both languages.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy and exam prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive, while bridging language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
