The Math Coach & Facilitator position at Bank Street College of Education is designed to support K-12 math education, specifically focusing on middle and high school grades. The facilitator will also lead teacher teams in reflective practices, analyze data to identify inequitable practices, and examine student work to enhance pedagogical methods. Additionally, the role involves creating and implementing coaching resources and materials that align with the Bank Street and Ed Center's educational approaches. The Math Coach & Facilitator will engage in project implementation and team collaboration, working with project analysts to set coaching goals and measure the impact of their work. This includes completing coaching logs after school visits and providing updates during weekly meetings. The facilitator will also participate in professional learning sessions that align with the Ed Center's learning agenda and collaborate with project leads to monitor the progress of coaching initiatives.
