About The Position
The Math Circle Assistant will assist the Professor with the weekly DC Math Circle program, a few hours a week on Wednesday evenings.
Requirements
- Mathematical interest and ability.
- Enjoys working with children.
- This position is available only to enrolled American University students.
Responsibilities
- Assist in arranging the furniture in the room before sessions.
- Help to sign in students when needed.
- During the session, circulate among the students.
- Ask leading questions, help keep them on track.
- After the session ends, help clean up.
