About The Position

UnityPoint Health Des Moines is actively recruiting a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join their team at our Perinatal Center in Des Moines, IA Practice maternal-fetal medicine in a relational, patient-centered environment and enjoy quality of life in a city that’s recognized as a great place to live !

Requirements

• MD/DO or ECFMG certified foreign equivalent
• BC/BE in OBGYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa

Nice To Haves

• Fetal echocardiogram experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Join a growing MFM team built around work/life balance
• Consultative only – no delivery or surgery requirements beyond cerclage procedures
• Patient-facing MFM practice run at a pace that emphasizes quality of care - Max of 10-12 patients/day
• 4 clinic and/or call days, ½ day admin time per week, weekend call rotation
• Call 1:3 max ARNP first call for diabetic patients
• Care for patients with high-risk maternal and fetal conditions
