About The Position

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician (1.0 FTE) to join our established, collaborative and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. The general schedule is a 5-day work week with no weekends and no call. The physician will develop and grow a new MFM service line within a well-established women's health clinic, provide consultative and co-management services for high-risk pregnancies, perform prenatal diagnostic procedures including detailed ultrasounds and amniocentesis, perform surgical procedures such as cerclage placements and D&E, interpret and oversee fetal testing (NSTs, BPPs, Doppler studies), and collaborate with OB/GYNs, neonatologists, clinical geneticists, and other specialists. The position includes dedicated MA support and a support staff comprising RN triage/advice, obstetrical ultrasonographers, and dedicated surgery schedulers. Practitioners include physicians, Laborists, PAs, ARNPs, CNMs, as well as family medicine residents. There is also a referral to lactation consultants in the hospital.

Requirements

  • BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of MFM fellowship
  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
