As the Materiel & Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for schedule and technical performance of Lockheed Martin Strategic Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) Logistics Support Operations, which includes Materiel Control, Property Management, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, and the Consolidated Hazardous Reutilization and Inventory Management Program (CHRIMP). This position will also be responsible for the operation of facilities, including Missile Spares Support Building, Flammable Storage Building, SWFPAC Plaza, Container Storage Area, and numerous Small Ordnance Magazines. Maintain high level of support to production operations by ensuring well planned high quality inventory and timely material support. Manage material planning/forecasting of missile and support equipment hardware as documented in program plans and schedules. Ensure good warehousing and material management practices in support of SWFPAC's growing program increases. Other responsibilities include: Develop staffing plans, coordinate travel and cross-training requirements. Ensure safety, security, high work ethics and a teaming environment within the organization. Participate in the preparation of proposals, business plans and operating budgets. Develop and present program information to Sr. Management on an as needed basis. Collaborate with other organizations including internal Lockheed Martin management and personnel, local and SSP Government Representatives, Associate Contractors at SWFPAC and other Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) sites. Negotiate Industrial Support Requirements Plan (ISRP) commitments with local Government personnel. Foster an environment where the diverse talents and perspectives of our people power innovative solutions for our customers and drives business success. Drive focus toward continuous process improvement, corrective action and expeditious implementation of robust, relevant corrective action plans.

Requirements

  • Demonstration of Lockheed Martin's Full Spectrum Leadership qualities
  • Must have 5-10 years of experience in Facility Operations or other related discipline (e.g. Materiel Operations, Logistics)
  • 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience either in a managerial or team lead role
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Prior experience in leading both exempt (salary) and non-exempt (hourly) employees
  • Prior experience collaborating with other organizations to achieve goals and solve problems
  • Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret security clearance. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start

Nice To Haves

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or higher-level degree
  • Fleet Ballistic Missile program experience
  • Strong understanding of FBM material and logistics flows and warehouse operations experience
  • Experience with Materiel and Property Management, MAS, SAP, ASRS and Navy ERP data systems
  • Understanding of Government Furnished Property principles and experience with Federal Acquisition and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Familiar with Qual/Cert Checklist Training (QCT) program.
  • Proactively support continuous improvement in the areas of technical competencies, talent, behaviors, cost and performance.
  • Black belt / Green belt certified.
