About The Position

Responsible for the workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including the stocking, counting, and distributing of supplies, and recording the movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS). The Materials Technician is assigned to several units and is responsible for restocking supply carts, adjusting the mix of supply items and par levels. Also interacts continually and effectively with the staff, responding to and anticipating their needs in a timely manner, and giving updates on new supply items. Full Time / Day Shift

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Valid WA Driver’s license required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
  • Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing.
  • Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.
  • COVID-19 vaccination requirement: After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake.
