The Materials Technician is essential to ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. As part of the team, you will have an important, uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experience to work in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will make a difference by exceling in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impacting the lives of others. You will work alongside a team of talented individuals in a concerted team effort and under the direct supervision of Lead Technicians and Pharmacy Supervisors. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, team orientation, and problem-solving skills. As a Materials Technician working in the pharmacy, you get to perform a variety of roles including but not limited to cycle-counting of products throughout the warehouse facility, processing RGM's (Returned Goods) and the disposition of the returned material, and inventory maintenance (slotting, NDC & location changes). A successful Materials Technician in the Materials Dispensing role will need to be very detailed oriented, confident in their math skills, and possess great computer skills. Additional responsibilities include: Maintaining the input of all inventory received. Assisting in the flow of inventory/purchasing processes. Will be the internal resource for other departments regarding inventory concerns.
