About The Position

The Materials Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all materials-related functions, including warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and scheduling to support production and shipping needs. This role ensures accurate material availability, efficient storage and distribution processes, and alignment with purchasing and production requirements. The Materials Supervisor leads a team and works cross-functionally to maintain accurate records, optimize efficiency, and support overall operational performance. As with all leadership roles at KRB, this position is actively hands-on and requires regular participation in warehouse activities to support the team and daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in materials management, warehouse leadership, inventory control, or related operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control practices, production scheduling, and ERP systems
• Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the warehouse team, providing direction, training, performance feedback, and development.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material movement, and staging for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, reconciliation, and documentation of material transactions.
• Coordinate material scheduling to ensure timely availability for production and shipping requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage inventory levels, production schedules, material transactions, and reporting.
• Monitor and improve materials processes to support efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to resolve material issues and support workflow continuity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations in all materials and warehouse activities.
