About The Position

As the Materials Supervisor - Line Replenishment, you will keep production moving by ensuring accurate, efficient material flow to and from the lines. You’ll combine leadership with Lean principles—championing 5S, safety, and continuous improvement—while using data to eliminate waste and drive measurable impact. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including direct exposure to production support or material‑handling workflows
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a people leadership role, overseeing material handlers, tugger operators, or similar frontline logistics staff
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Materials Management
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and safety knowledge
  • Strong understanding of safety practices, standardized work, and continuous‑improvement mindsets common in manufacturing
  • Proficiency in WMS and basic ERP/material‑tracking tools. and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Strengthen and standardize material flow processes, including optimizing tugger routes, improving scanning accuracy, and supporting automation initiatives.
  • Ensure timely delivery of components to production lines, preventing shortages or overstock, and monitor workstation inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of digital replenishment tools and automation initiatives (e.g., barcode scanning systems, AGVs).
  • Partner with Planning and Operations to align material delivery with production schedules and minimize downtime caused by material disruptions.
  • Champion 5S standards and Lean principles across material handling and line-side support areas.
  • Drive team engagement in waste identification, standardized work, and kaizen initiatives.
  • Utilize data and KPI trends to reduce material-related downtime and improve throughput.
  • Lead and develop a frontline materials team supporting multiple high-volume production lines.
  • Establish clear expectations, reinforce accountability, and foster a culture of safety, communication, and respect.
  • Conduct daily start-up meetings, ensure training completion, and provide coaching focused on safety, productivity, and team ownership.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP tools, and barcode scanning systems to ensure real-time material accuracy.
  • Track and act on key performance indicators including material-related downtime, inventory accuracy, productivity, and route efficiency.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety to ensure cohesive material flow and alignment with plant priorities.
