Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to an assigned team.
  • Focus on daily continuous improvements and team processes to deliver team key performance indicators.
  • Drive employee engagement and development.
  • Ensure that all Safety, Quality, Cost and Customer Delivery goals are achieved.
  • Engage and develop team members through utilization of Skills matrix and coaching skills.
  • Own and develop JDS and Skills matrix and create a positive work environment.
  • Ensure effective performance evaluations, appropriate counseling measures and accurate and timely timecard inputs.
  • Support the Electrolux Management System and implement continuous improvement processes and cost savings.
  • Lead line balancing, time studies, SMED, problem solving and ensure labor map adherence.
  • Support Autonomous maintenance and environmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • Industrial technology degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents & drawings and write detailed reports.
  • Well-versed in process improvement methodologies.
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Prior experience in Material Flow, Welding, Enamel Stamping or Robotics is preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP, Time and Attendance, and OEE systems.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
