The Materials Specialist Lead is responsible for maintaining warehouse operations at IDT’s Therapeutics Gene Editing plant in Coralville, Iowa. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Therapeutics Gene Editing Operations Team located in Coralville, Iowa and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Complete pick/pack/ship activities, including preparing outbound shipments, coordinating with a variety of shipping companies, receiving incoming deliveries from suppliers, labeling inventory upon receipt, and stocking appropriately. Maintain warehouse inventory by stocking, cycle counting, managing Kanban locations, and transacting inventory to the correct cost centers and labs for production. Work with other departments to ensure all raw material needs are met.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience working in ERP systems, particularly SAP, with responsibility processing and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Ability to travel – Must occasionally commute to other Coralville locations
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs

  • Adapting to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Warehouse operations, specifically in the manufacturing industry
