FUNCTION: Pratt & Whitney is seeking Materials Servicer B (901) team members to support commercial and military engine assembly and test operations on 2nd shift. The 901 team ensures material readiness and supports production flow, directly impacting schedule adherence and shipment execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (GED).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to cross-train across engine programs and material processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

  • Execute SAP material transactions including issues, transfers, verifications, and inventory adjustments.
  • Transport staged material carts from the 901 handoff area to assigned engine lines to support fork-to-line logistics.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels within assigned birdfeeders.
  • Perform cycle counts and material verification to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, stackers, and pallet jacks.
  • Support engine test and shipping activities, including load preparation and documentation verification.
  • Coordinate professionally with internal teams and external carriers during shipment activities.
  • Ensure all electronic documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with established procedures.
  • Identify and escalate material shortages or discrepancies as appropriate.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and readiness.
