About The Position
We are looking for a Materials Scientists to join our Green Metals Team in the Greater Boston Area, Massachusetts, USA. In Outokumpu's Green Metals Team, we aim to leverage the best available avenues in both state of the art technologies and emerging disruptive innovations to establish a new paradigm in environmentally sustainable metals production. Our scientific and engineering efforts are focused on inventing and validating innovative solutions for decarbonization and new product development in extractive and chemical metallurgy. We are seeking a decidedly motivated reactor modelling scientist with a passion for innovation to join our Team. Together, we will collaboratively address technical challenges in ferroalloy and stainless steel manufacturing. As a member of our Team, you will be key part of our effort to design, demonstrate, and implement new mineral treatment and metal smelting processes for a range of materials and applications.
