About The Position

This position is a 12-week paid internship located in Bloomington, Indiana supporting the initiatives of the Materials Science team. It is offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (exact dates depend on school calendars.) This position includes 401(k) options, an assigned mentor, capstone presentation, and intern events. If working onsite, you will also have access to a fitness center, an onsite cafeteria option, and a one-time housing stipend. All internship positions are assigned a direct mentor and each position provides real-world experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

Requirements

• College or University Junior or Senior preferred working towards a bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry (Graduate students also considered)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States without any need for current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures pertinent to tasks being performed
• Provide support to other Materials Science team members upon request and where reasonable
• Learn quickly about project background and project objectives
• Coordinate resources to meet project needs and deadlines
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation
