About The Position

The Materials Scheduler at Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is responsible for MRP planning, scheduling, and expediting finished goods and components to support strategic inventory goals. This role involves analyzing material requirements, creating schedules, and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet production demands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supply chain related role such as procurement, planning, or scheduling.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of La Grange, NC, or be an active-duty military member.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a supply chain related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer orders, plant capacity, and inventory to develop schedules to meet production requirements.
  • Create daily or weekly schedules of work centers while mitigating capacity constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Support material replenishment and orders to ensure manufacturing has the required materials.
  • Analyze material requirements and SAP setup of parts, including safety stock review and updates.
  • Respond to MRP action messages to ensure raw materials and packaging components are available.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules.
  • Manage removals of excess or obsolete materials and their disposition.
  • Support reporting and correspondence for Eaton SCM professionals.
  • Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Expedite orders with suppliers to avoid shortages and communicate updates to the team.
  • Review applicable purchasing documentation (BOM, REQ, PO, etc.).
  • Order component parts and outside secondary operation services through SAP.
  • Perform inventory audits as required.
