Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? We have an opportunity for a Material Review Board Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA. This is a 2nd shift role, but training will take place on 1st shift for several weeks prior to transitioning to Weekend. Assisting Engineering and Manufacturing to properly disposition parts running through the Material Review Board Process. 3x12 shift Friday - Sunday , 7AM - 7PM.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1+ Year of relevant experience in either: manufacturing, quality control, parts/ inventory management or a related area.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Skilled in processing of Quality Notifications in Solumina and/or ERP (SAP).
  • Skilled in navigating Solumina to confirm work instruction and routing requirements.
  • Prior quality inspection experience, especially in aerospace or automotive.
  • Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing facility.
  • Quality control or quality assurance experience in an manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience making decisions on conforming versus nonconforming material.

Responsibilities

  • General organization and maintenance of MRB Cribs
  • Coordinating 305/501 closures with Engineering
  • Support to Operations Communication of QN material which needs review to Quality and Manufacturing part family owners
  • Coordinating the creation of Rework/Repair Travelers and final approval of them.
  • Final disposition of nonconforming material
  • Follow all EH&S rules and guidelines.
  • Full support of RMEA QNs from a tracking, closure standpoint
