Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute dual‑sourcing strategies for advanced materials commodity (Ceramics, Quartz, Special Coatings).
  • Lead supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding in partnership with Commodity Management, BU/Mfg. Operations, SQE, and Engineering teams.
  • Own end‑to-end program management of dual‑source projects, including Project identification, RFQ activity, Qual./Ramp PO, timelines, technical readiness, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Drive supplier readiness activities covering capacity, capability, cost modeling, PPI/FAI, regulatory compliance, and ramp‑up planning.
  • Assess supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure business continuity for critical materials.
  • Perform cost analysis, and negotiations for competitive sourcing.
  • Track and report program metrics including qualification progress, risk status, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Partner with engineering to influence materials strategy, specification optimization, and value engineering opportunities.
