TEAM OVERVIEW: The ideal candidate will join the Applied Global Spares (AGS) team that manages the Built to Print commodity family. The candidate will have an opportunity to work on a variety of sourcing projects to support strategic sourcing efforts, and supplier performance improvements (cost, delivery, quality) by working with a cross-functional team, thriving in a high-paced environment.
Requirements
- SAP / Tableau experience
- Microsoft Applications (ability to perform Excel V-lookup and Pivot Tables)
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate to solve complex problems
- Comfortable presenting to various hierarchies of management team
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
- GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
- Experience negotiating and project management preferred
- Strong analytical skills (Vlookup, compiling data from multiple reporting sources).
Responsibilities
- Point of contact interfacing with suppliers and communicating requirements pertaining to cost, quality, delivery, and repairs.
- Ability to pull and analyze data from multiple sources to make sourcing decisions and support special projects (i.e Lead Time Reduction).
- Interface with cross-functional groups including, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Global Supply Chain counterparts.
- Project management supporting transition projects for multi-sourcing solutions.
