Define the strategy of the operation model to supply the material services of the facility Define the roles and responsibilities in the team through development and training Production planning for the plant (assembly & press) Schedule Analysis and SIOP Customer Liaison-scorecard improvement Meeting Inventory Days on Hand KPI Meeting Cost of Logistics KPI Adjustments in Sales and Build Forecasting Promote continuous improvement while using scientific thinking (KATA) Focus on Metalsa Operating Standard Cycle count variation with root cause analysis Execute strategy roadmaps Implement and Lead Inventory Accuracy through scanning process through the plant Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

Requirements

Business Degree or 3 years’ experience in Logistics
High school diploma
Logistics/Supply chain or master scheduling experience- At least 3 yrs
Proven inventory control experience
Proven supervisory experience
Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
Materials logistics skills
Overall quality systems methodologies (IATF 16949)
Value chain knowledge
MRP systems (QAD, Oracle, etc.)
Experience in the application of systems methodologies (Kanban, JIT, etc.)

Responsibilities

Define the strategy of the operation model to supply the material services of the facility
Define the roles and responsibilities in the team through development and training
Production planning for the plant (assembly & press)
Schedule Analysis and SIOP
Customer Liaison-scorecard improvement
Meeting Inventory Days on Hand KPI
Meeting Cost of Logistics KPI
Adjustments in Sales and Build Forecasting
Promote continuous improvement while using scientific thinking (KATA)
Focus on Metalsa Operating Standard
Cycle count variation with root cause analysis
Execute strategy roadmaps
Implement and Lead Inventory Accuracy through scanning process through the plant
