Job Description/Preferred Qualifications Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of material through the production cycle and new product builds. Determine material requirements from production schedules, engineering BOMs. Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, stock room and engineering to ensure timely availability. Review and track shortages and run shortage meetings with the procurement and sub assembly team. Escalate critical part shortages to management that will jeopardize the ship schedule. Plan and release subassembly work orders for the tool. Prioritize and track sub-assemblies, ensuring they are completed and available on the shelf before tool kitting begins. Maintain the work order bill of materials, ensuring it supports efficient material flow and aligns with the assembly process. Collaborate with engineering for new product work order releases and material planning. Ensure engineering change orders are approved and work orders are updated accordingly . Review backorders related to the tool line. Create reservation requests for internal department part requests. Create delivery documents and close work order variances, coordinating with the stock room. Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate resources as required to meet build plan commitments.

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

Nice To Haves

  • BS degree + 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment OR AS + 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel, Data analysis, ERP system; preferable SAP.
  • Detail oriented, process driven, highly collaborative, committed to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
