Purpose of the Position: To plan, schedule, and procure materials exclusively from approved sister or affiliated companies across multiple countries. Ensure material availability aligns with global production schedules, demand forecasts, and inventory targets while maintaining compliance with intercompany procurement and international shipping policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related filed or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in material planning, scheduling, or purchasing with international supply chain exposure; preferably Automotive or Manufacturing
  • Proven experience working with ERP/MRP systems to manage orders, inventory and forecasts.
  • Proven experience with Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills combined with initiative-taking communication and exceptional follow-through.
  • Ability to understand, speak and read English
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and work with urgency in a fast-moving environment.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with suppliers.
  • Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily
  • Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion
  • Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects
  • Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently

Responsibilities

  • Procure materials and components exclusively from designated sister or affiliate companies globally.
  • Coordinate and track all international order confirmations, shipments, and customs documents to maintain accurate records and prevent delays.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain purchase orders using Excel and NetSuite.
  • Develop and maintain material based on production schedules, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Align intercompany purchasing activities with master production schedules and material requirements planning.
  • Adjust orders and delivery schedules in response to global demand changes, capacity constraints, and supply availability.
  • Coordinate lead times, shipping schedules, customs requirements, and delivery windows with sister companies across multiple countries (Mexico, Thailand, India, China, and Japan)
  • Analyze shortages, schedule variances, and supply disruptions to management.
  • Communicate forecast changes, priorities, and constraints to suppliers and management.
  • Support cycle counting, reconciliation, and audit activities.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, logistics, and finance teams to align material plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
