Requirements

  • High school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR Associate/Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience managing purchasing portfolios in a global environment.
  • Strong knowledge of business economics, cost structures, contracts, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of program management tools and conflict resolution strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and materials.
  • Plan and manage inventory to meet operational and customer requirements.
  • Execute the purchasing of parts, materials, and services while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Manage supplier selection, performance, and corrective action as needed.
  • Expedite materials and adjust allocations to satisfy supply chain needs.
  • Oversee ERP systems management, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Support and reconcile inventory counts, surveys, and adjustments.
  • Process warranty and contract performance claims.
  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery goals are achieved.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies and procurement-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Prioritize urgent procurement needs such as expedited and AOG (aircraft on ground) orders.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and the Safety Management System.
