About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Materials / Parts Associate to support our aviation maintenance and production operations. You will be part of a hands‑on team responsible for the accurate receiving, inspection, storage, and distribution of aircraft parts, tooling, consumables, and materials. Your work ensures that technicians have what they need—safely, quickly, and in compliance with FAA and company standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced, organized environment and understands the importance of documentation, traceability, and precision in aviation materials handling. You should be dependable, proactive, and comfortable working closely with maintenance, procurement, and quality teams.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of aviation parts or warehouse experience (aviation strongly preferred)
  • Understanding of aircraft parts, traceability, and FAA documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience using inventory management or MRO/ERP systems
  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to participate in a Drug‑Free Workplace

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aviation inventory systems (e.g., Quantum/QMX)
  • Prior work in an FAA‑regulated environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aircraft parts, materials, and supplies
  • Check part numbers, quantities, certifications, and traceability documents (e.g., 8130, CofC)
  • Organize, label, and store parts according to company and FAA requirements
  • Issue parts, tools, and consumables to technicians; record all inventory transactions
  • Process purchase orders, returns, stock transfers, and vendor shipments
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including packaging and documentation
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized warehouse/parts room
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, and Maintenance on stock levels, backorders, and lead times
