About The Position
The Materials Manager is responsible for maintaining the supplies, equipment, and all materials necessary for the daily operation of the surgery center. This role includes supervising the maintenance of accurate records associated with ordering, receiving, and processing payments for all requisitions and purchase orders. The Materials Manager will also maintain automated systems to support materials management functions, coordinate physical inventory, and complete mandatory reporting annually at the facility. Additionally, the position involves monitoring savings opportunities, coordinating product evaluations, maintaining savings logs, performing cost analysis, and working closely with physicians in product evaluations. The Materials Manager oversees all activities to ensure the availability of necessary instruments.
