Materials Manager Job Profile: JP00473 Position Summary The Material Manager is responsible for material management, vendor management, process management, and aids in cost management at the Home Building Facility. The Material Manager plans, organizes, coordinates, controls, and supervises the purchasing department, warehouse, and inventory control activities and works closely with the manufacturing teams to establish scheduling and planning requirements. This requires working with other departments at the facility including Engineering, Production, Service, Sales, as well as working collaboratively with Home office teams (procurement, accounting, etc..). The Material Manager reports directly to the General Manager of the HBF with a dotted line report into the corporate VP of Procurement. This position is responsible for effective execution of the job responsibilities below:
