About The Position

Multi Site Materials Manager will be responsible for all SKUs / product lines, capacities and roles for Power Connections focusing on a SIOP horizon of 0-18+ months. Incumbent will be responsible for trade-Off decisions, for making decisions to optimize business Materials KPIs holistically" This role requires working on-site daily M-F at our Carol Stream faciltiy. If required, relocation assistance is available for a qualified candidate currently residing in the US. - Manages a team of Operational buyers, Production planners & Customer Service in Power Connections sites - Manage capacity vs demand (0-18+ months horizon), flagging any exceptions, driving solutions and decision making to close the gap. - Partners with operations materials at sites, for warehousing and operational procurement if gaps require escalation. - Manages replenishment strategy across value stream in line with the inventory policy. Conducts regular parameters audits. - Creates the consensus supply plan, balancing FG inventory and capacity with the objective to meet demand on-time and in full. - Ensures production schedule adherence and attainment. - Works with SIOP and business teams to update FG inventory targets and inventory policies. - Reviews supply and inventory performance metrics, inventory outlook projection, identify gaps vs targets & improvement opportunities and liaise with relevant stakeholders to execute improvement action plans. - Accountable for value stream improvements in cash, cost and customer service results. - Initiates scenario planning to optimize the plan on service, cash and costs. - Provides relevant information to the divisional SIOP meetings regarding supply vs. demand (capacity) and FG inventory performance Process-oriented and ability contribute to continuous improvement. Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements. Ability to travel ~ 30% within US and Mexico.

Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree from an accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant manufacturing/ industrial company.
  • Experience working across supply chain / operations with a proven track record of influencing & delivering results across the end-to-end product and supply chain management processes.
  • Previous experience managing complex material flows across multi-tier manufacturing & distribution networks.
  • Ability to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Process-oriented and ability contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements.
  • Ability to travel ~ 30% within US and Mexico.
  • Holistic perspective, ability to adapt to different cultures and to get results in a complex environment

  • Must be able to build strong relationships at all levels

  • Ability to analyze, interpret and derive conclusions on large volumes of data.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Masters in Supply Chain / Operations or Engineering.
  • Previous experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Broad foundational technical expertise across areas such as planning, execution, procurement & plant operations.
  • Experiencing building strong partnerships and influencing cross functional stakeholders in sales, finance, product line leaders and HR
  • CPIM certified a plus
