About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in Materials Management.
• Basic math skills.
• Advanced computer skills with knowledge of Materials Management Information Systems.
• Advanced leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train Materials Management Attendants.
• Schedule work for the Materials Management team.
• Perform materials management duties such as stocking, counting items received, and loading and shipping.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues related to orders.
• Assist the manager with performance issues and provide input on performance evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.
• Promote individual professional growth and development through education and skills competency.
• Model Memorial Hermann's service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences.
