About The Position
As a Materials Management Intern at LG Energy Solution, you will support inbound inventory operations by assisting with inbound supplier carriers, supplied components receiving and storage, and warehouse organization.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics -Junior or Senior standing
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 GPA or higher
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new tasks and projects
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
Responsibilities
- Assist in cycle counting and inventory accuracy, problem solving inventory inaccuracies
- Support the inbound receiving process and helping to manage the 3PL (LX Pantos)
- Help track purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of requirements
- Collaborate with the Inbound MM team and help to manage the installation of storage racks in main warehouse
- Participate in physical inventory activities and help to problem solve any inaccuracies
- Support internal teams by coordinating MM and inventory service request and tracking progress
