About The Position

At OCOM, the Materials Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the hospital runs smoothly by managing medical and non-medical supplies. This involves making sure supplies are available, organized, and cost-effective, working closely with departments and vendors to support quality patient care behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

  • Order and manage medical and non‑medical supplies
  • Monitor inventory levels and keep supplies stocked
  • Work with vendors on pricing, contracts, and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate item records in Cerner
  • Receive and organize deliveries
  • Review invoices and ensure correct billing
  • Track implants, consignment items, and recalls
  • Coordinate equipment repairs as needed
  • Support leadership and assist with special projects
